Every year, more than 10 million new vehicles roll off the production line equipped with SACHS shock absorbers and dampers.
Made from high-quality materials and reflecting the state of the art technologies, SACHS is trusted as a high-performing and reliable brand for automobiles.
It’s no wonder why SACHS is trusted by numerous well-known automotive manufacturers around the world, including professional motorsports like Formula 1.
From Bikes to Big Global Brand
Before its foray into spare-parts, SACHS’ story began in 1984, when Ernst Sachs filed his first bicycle wheel hub patent application. This began his journey towards creating high-quality parts.
A year later, Sachs formed the “Schweinfurter Präzisionskugellager-Werke Fichtel & Sachs” (Precision Ball Bearing Production Plant) with Karl Fichtel, a merchant and financier.
In 2001, the company became part of the ZF Group which later merged into the ZF Friedrichshafen AG in 2011. This is why you’ll find SACHS products sold internationally by ZF Aftermarket, along with brands such as LEMFÖRDER, TRW, WABCO, and BOGE.
Over the years, the company was fueled by the philosophy of “[securing] a clear technological edge over competitors, both in terms of product quality and innovation, and in terms of customer service.”
Today, this translates to the values of high-performance and reliability that SACHS, true enough, continues to uphold.
What SACHS Products are Available?
SACHS offers products for various fields of application, covering almost all vehicle types–from European to Asian vehicles.
When you choose SACHS products sold under the ZF Aftermarket, you’re assured that these parts still meet the Quality Certification according to regulation (EU) No. 461/2010.
